Talk 1: The Four Dharmas of Gampopa and The Seven Line Supplication to Padmakara
Audio of talk: January 7, 2016 by Michael Fagan
The first few minutes of the talk were not recorded.
Summary of the missing content: Michael first stated that the purpose of chanting was to align the body and mind. Good posture on a cushion or chair is the first step in aligning body and mind, which means the same thing as being fully present in the here and now. The class then recited the Four Dharmas, after which Michael began the commentary starting with the first line.
