In winter 2019, we revisited the topic of Lojong (mind training) for six weeks.

Our focus this time through the slogans was how we have or can apply the slogans in our lives. We did not follow a particular book, but drew from three that we have used before: Start Where You Are: A Guide to Compassionate Living by Pema Chodron; Shambhala Publications,  Training the Mind and Cultivating Loving-Kindness by Chogyam Trungpa; Shambhala Publications and “The Practice of Lojong: Cultivating Compassion through Training the Mind” by Traleg Rinpoche.

There are many online sources for interpretation of the slogans. One favorite is Judy Lief’s series of articles from Tricycle Magazine https://tricycle.org/trikedaily/train-your-mind-lojong-commentary-judy-lief/ .
